Some resources for Collection Development and Management
This is my idea journal, where I can keep the titles, ideas, resources and other minutia that I discover while studying and working as a librarian. It will be varied, and it will likely be messy, but it is mine and I am happy to share it.

The tables below show the middle 50% of reader measures and text measures for each grade. The middle 50% is called the interquartile range (IQR). The lower number in each range marks the 25th percentile of readers or texts and the higher number in each range marks the 75th percentile of readers or texts. It is important to note that 25% of students and texts in the studies had measures below the lower number and 25% had measures above the higher number. Data for the reader measures came from a national sample of students.

- VERY easy to use - just type in the title and author into the search bar, and if there is a review, it will bring it up

- will take you to a page where you can view all the starred reviews from each month in chronological order - a nice feature for browsing a bit at a time
- Books are divided into genres : picture books, middle grades, YA, graphic novels, non-fiction, adult books for teens, reference, audiobooks, dvds, AND music.
- Links are provided to each book review
- Verdict: nice to browse in free time, not as easy to use, esp if pressed for time
- Back issues are subscriber only content
- current issue browses as a digital copy of the magazine, in a pdf type format
